Construction Supervisor
The candidate will monitor construction and installation at the job site, oversee contractors to confirm quality of work and compliance with design engineering specifications, and issue progress reports to the Project Manager.Proficiency in both oral and written communication is essential.The candidate must be comfortable with email, Microsoft, and Excel computer programs. Qualifications: - Minimum of 8 years inspection experience including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction methods, materials, standards and specifications. - Ability to function as lead resident project representative on projects including completion of construction records for federally funded projects. - INDOT Certified Technician - INDOT Materials Testing Certifications - INDOT Project Engineer/Supervisors Workshop Attendance - Site Manager Certification
Bridge Engineer/Underwater Bridge Inspection Team Leader
This position requires a professional engineering license and 10 years minimum bridge design and inspection experience. Inspection experience must include diving certifications and underwater bridge inspection. The position will be the primary team leader for our underwater bridge inspection team. Experience in design and plan preparation for bridge replacements and bridge rehabilitations is desired.
Environmental Scientist
The desired person, as a minimum, must have previous experience of doing Environmental Document Preparation for INDOT, Conducting Ecological Surveys, Waterway Permits and Wetland Mitigation design for the state department of transportation (DOT). Completion of NEPA training is a requirement. Education may be a BS in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, or Civil Engineering.
